Hi!  Thanks for clicking to download The Longing and the Short of It.

I’m really pleased to share this show with you.  I hope you’ll find that it rewards multiple listens/reads and that you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.  The recordings are performed by yours truly and some of my favorite singing actors:  Victoria Huston-Elem, Grace McLean, Alix Paige, Bob Stillman, and Noah Zachary.  All instrument sounds were made by me.

THE DEMO:  Clicking the “yes” link below will take you to a Paypal page where you’ll have the option of donating towards recording costs.  Even on the cheap, it still cost over a thousand dollars to produce and many, many Maté-hours of recording, engineering, mixing, etc..  Please donate whatever amount feels right to you, from a few cents to a buncha bucks.  Any amount is appreciated.  The whole process shouldn’t take more than a minute or two.  (If you’d rather pay nothing, that’s fine too — just click on the “no thanks” link, and consider it a gift.)

(yes, I want to download demo with a donation)

(no thanks, just gimme the musics!)

From the PayPal page, follow these instructions:

• At the top of the page, enter your chosen donation amount.  (e.g. $1, $2, $5, $10, $87.72…)
• If you have a PayPal account, log in below at right.
• If you don’t have a PayPal account:  bottom left, look for “Don’t have a PayPal account?” and click on the “Continue” link.  From there, just fill in your payment info, and click on “Review Donation and Continue”.
• Confirm the donation on the next page, and then click on the “Return to donations coordinator” button.  It’ll take you straight to the Dropbox download page, where you can click “Download” to download.

Thanks, and enjoy the music.  This show and these songs are very dear to me, and I’m thrilled for you to add it to your (no doubt) excellent collection.

“Now I’m not trying to suggest there’s something lacking,
And your available space is probably wearing thin.
But maybe if I wrote a song,
And sang it out nice and strong,
You might slip me right into to the mix and I’d fit right in.”
